we’re getting somewhere finally

Several important early milestones have been met in the past couple of weeks. First, we received approval from the soil conservation folks for our soil erosion and grading plan...on the first attempt. And this week, our preliminary septic plan was completed and our permit application submitted to the county health department. Once that permit is received, we can proceed with the permitting process with out township and hopefully get our project moving in a month or so...assuming the township doesn’t require a lot of revisions, etc.

The site is ready outside of my attempting to move a 20' dogwood tree. I’ve been waiting for it to go dormant and we have finally had some cold weather. There is no guarantee I can complete this task, but it’s worth a try!

I have also completed, more or less, the vanity for the new guest bath and soon will finish up the matching mirror. One room down...a lot of other stuff to go!

One other thing has become quite obvious...we really, really, really need the extra room that the addition will bring...
