happy new year!
Happy New Year to the three or four of you reading this BLOG! ;-) This is just a quick update to start off the new calendar year...the one that this project is going to be the highlight.
Just prior to the holiday break, we received the necessary plot plan annotated for the soil conservation folks and their required permit. Michael, the GC, has the application ready to go and it will be submitted tomorrow. (The office is closed today due to President Ford’s funeral) We also received approval from the county health department to proceed with design and permitting for the necessary septic flow updates...the perk test came in fine; in fact, slightly better than when the system was installed in 2000. The flow update will require one or two additional sub-surface pressure dose trenches tied into the current three trenches. Hopefully, the cost for this will be reasonable since the work is localized to a small area.
